The BFG Foundation Grant Application FAQs

All applications for support must be submitted through our online application process. A simple tutorial link is available, and if you still have questions, please reach out to us by emailing our Grants Administrator.

Apply for a Grant

The Business for Good Foundation supports a variety of applicants including small businesses, entrepreneurs, as well as not-for-profit business organizations.

Applicants who have previously applied for a grant from BFG and have received a grant may not apply for another grant within one year from the date of their first grant award.  Applicants who have previously applied for a grant from BFG and BFG declined to fund the grant, may not apply for another grant within one year from the date of their first grant application.

We do not fund religious or political organizations/individuals. However, outreach projects and programs sponsored by religious organizations may be considered if they fall within the parameters of BFG’s main focus areas.

BFG reviews proposals throughout the year as follows: requests under $10,000 are reviewed on a rolling basis and those at $10,000 and above are reviewed quarterly by the Board of Directors.

As you might expect, we receive more requests each year than we are able to fund. As a result, we only consider projects that fit within our grant making priorities, guidelines, and overall mission.

The portal application can be viewed on a mobile device; however, the application itself needs to be completed on a browser. Chrome is preferred.

Be careful when sharing sensitive information. Please be advised BFG will never request personal, organizational, or financial information via text or SMS. If you receive a message and are uncertain of its legitimacy, please contact our Grants Administrator.

For sponsorships, please complete the Sponsorship Application in our online application system.

 

Apply for Sponsorship

You will receive an email confirming your application has been submitted successfully. If we need any additional information, we will reach out to you.  Board-reviewed decisions will be announced within two weeks of each quarterly Board meeting. Rolling-basis decisions (under $10,000) are communicated within 5 business days of review.
